DESCRIPTION

Minna Ninova is an associate research scholar at the Spatial Information Design Lab. Her focus is on the spatial aspects of cultural geography and the visual display of quantitative information. In May 2008, Minna graduated with a Masters degree in Urban Planning at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Her thesis focused on the politics of contemporary arts institutions in Vienna, Austria. She was also the General Editor of URBAN, a student-run urban issues magazine. Before coming to Columbia, Minna recieved a bachelors degree in Political Science and French and Francophone Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
